****5′10″ Al Merrick – Classic/Vintage/Retro****

$125

Hello there!!! You are viewing a classic Al Merrick 5′10″ Tri-Fin circa the early 1980’s. I’ve dropped the price by $100!!! Because of its unique condition and shape, I have included some detailed information below. Enjoy!

Shape and Design: This board is a vintage Channel Islands Tri-Fin shaped by Al Merrick in Santa Barbara, CA during the early 1980’s. It’s dimensions are as follows: 5′10″ x 19.5″ x 2.75″. Because of its flat deck and thick rails, this board flys in small waves. Fortunately, this board’s tri-fin setup and bottom contour allow it to hold and turn well in larger surf. I’ve ridden it in all kinds of conditions and it generates its own speed in the small stuff while maintaining manueverability in larger waves.

Condition: This board is in good condition given it’s age and history. Large dings have been repaired professionally and are water tight. There are two existing dings that could use a finishing coat or some Solarez, and I’ve included pictures of these dings for your review. The top of the deck is very clean, but there is some delamination near the tail pad. This board has its original Channel Islands tail pad, and I’ve added a stomp pad for extra support. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions! :) —-surfmagnet@gmail.com or 562-233-8330
